It's the most wonderful time of the year!

A time filled with lights, festive fun, and lots of cheer. Gather the family, pack up the car and explore 10 of the biggest and brightest holiday light displays in Georgia.

1. Ashebrooke Nights of Lights | Cumming, GA

Ashebrooke Night of Lights is a 1 night event taking place on December 19th with 300+ homes participating in a spectacular light display & luminaries lining the streets. Enjoy 6 miles of fantastic Christmas cheer! It was started by neighbors helping a neighbor in need and continues in the same spirit. Each year since its inception, Ashebrooke residents continue to reach out and help a neighbor or local community organization in need. The NOL effort not only provides financial assistance, but builds the community during the holiday season and beyond. Ashebrooke raises money within the neighborhood by selling simple sand luminaries and placing them along the streets and driveways. Over the years, the event has grown to add a hot chocolate station, a live Nativity, a North Pole with Santa Claus himself, and spectacular holiday light displays! The event also attracts Georgia residents from Forsyth County and beyond on nights other than the big event.

2. Margaritaville's Lakeside Lights Spectacular | Buford, GA

Introduced in 2020, Margaritaville's Lakeside Lights Spectacular is a magical walk through a lighting extravaganza with festive seasonal music at Lanier Islands. Grab a drink and a sweet treat at Santa's Tiki Bar, play Polar Mini Golf, and add to the experience with wintry fun at License to Chill Snow Island at Margaritaville. With one of the fastest snow rides in North America, ice skating, snow play area, fire pits, and s’mores, carnival rides and more, Snow Island is one of the best Southern snow attractions and fun for all ages.

3. Holiday Lights at Veteran's Park | Canton, GA

This is a 2 mile drive thru Christmas light show, open November 23rd-December 31st. Open nightly at 6:00.Admission is $20 per car.

The Garden Lights, Holiday Nights adventure at the Atlanta Botanical Garden thrills all of your senses! Orchestral Orbs glow harmoniously with holiday tunes. A Tunnel of Light from the radiant Ice Goddess to the Glittering Galaxy embraces visitors in enchanting light. Named one of the top 10 holiday light shows in the country by USA Today, this monumental event in the heart of Midtown Atlanta is one you don't want to miss.

6. ATL Holiday Lights - Lakewood Amphitheater

ATL Holiday Lights returns and is bringing more drive through Christmas lights and more fun than ever before! Tickets are timed to minimize wait time. To see the lights, you can drive through on value nights (Monday – Wednesday) for $30 per car in advance or $40 at the gate.On peak nights and Christmas Week (Friday – Saturday) the cost is $40 per car in advance or $50 at the gate.

9.  Holiday Lights at Barnsley Resort

Visitors to Barnsley Resort (including those who are not staying overnight) are welcome to view more than 1 million lights and festive décor in the historic 1800s manor house ruins, surrounding gardens and English-style village. Holiday Garden fees are complementary to overnight guests and children five and under. Fees apply for all other visitors, and tickets are subject to availability and can be purchased online. Take advantage of the resort's special offers, and plan a getaway to spend even more time under the lights.
