For those of us who want to celebrate the holiday with a bang, there’s no bigger bang than a firework show that goes all-out. 3. AJC Peachtree Road Race in Atlanta
AJC Peachtree Road Race, as it celebrates its 50th Running in Atlanta! Start your 4th of July morning with a historic 10K through the streets of Atlanta followed by a night of cheering on America's team at SunTrust Park when the Atlanta Braves take on the Philadelphia Phillies at 7:20 p.m.
The Atlanta Braves are offering an exclusive deal for all AJC Peachtree Road Race participants to come out and enjoy America's team at SunTrust Park when the Atlanta Braves take on the Philadelphia Phillies at 7:20 p.m. on July 4. Tickets are available in the all-inclusive Hank Aaron Terrace for only $50 (value $84) to celebrate the 50th Running of this holiday tradition. Seating in the Hank Aaron Terrace is first come first serve and includes access to an indoor/outdoor area.

In the course of running events, it has become necessary for us, the runners of North Georgia, to choose our own race.
We have the inalienable right to sleep later and stay closer to home.
We yearn to avoid crowded MARTA trains and easily find a parking space.

5. 4th of July Celebration at Cumming Fairgrounds
The City of Cumming is celebrating Independence Day with the 62nd annual Thomas-Mashburn Steam Engine Parade and Celebration. Bring your chair or blanket and join the fun with live music, food, alcohol, a kids zone, and a spectacular fireworks display.

6. Annual 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza in Roswell
The 20th Annual Roswell Fireworks Extravaganza will be held at Roswell High School on the front lawn. This wonderful Roswell tradition is a great family event filled with live stage performances, a Kids Zone and great food! You won't want to miss Roswell's largest community celebration! Bring your picnic blankets, chairs, and the entire family. However, dogs are not allowed at this event. (Roswell High is a drug, alcohol and tobacco free school).

The City of Alpharetta hosts the annual 4th of July Celebration at Wills Park. The event will take place in three separate areas with fun, games and entertainment spread throughout the park!

8. Centennial Olympic Park Fourth of July Celebration in Atlanta
The Georgia World Congress Center Authority (GWCCA), in partnership with event sponsor The Coca-Cola Company, is bringing its annual Fourth of July Celebration back to Centennial Olympic Park. The fireworks show will begin at 9:45 p.m. Visitors under 17 years of age are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian 25 years of age or older at all times.

9. Stars and Stripes Celebration 2019 in Sandy Springs
The skies above Sandy Springs will sparkle and sizzle as the City hosts its annual Stars and Stripes Celebration fireworks event on Thursday, July 4, 2019, at the Concourse Corporate Campus lawn.
Music from the band Bogey & The Viceroys will begin at 7:30 pm and will dazzle the sky beginning at 9:45 pm. Pack a picnic, bring a blanket, and enjoy an evening under the stars. Complimentary parking officially opens at 6:30 p.m. and is available in Concourse Parking Decks Five and Six.
10. Fantastic Fourth Celebration at Stone Mountain
Enjoy a day full of adventure with great family attractions and special live entertainment including performances by the Zuzu African Acrobats, then stay into the evening to experience the Lasershow Spectacular followed by the exact same patriotic fireworks finale each night of the celebration!
